Today Frederick joins the editor for a Q&A session about Bea's biscuits. Bea is his grandma who insists on putting shortening in biscuits, but the editor digresses.
*******
Q: Frederick, what is your favorite way to eat Bea's biscuits?
A: My favorite way to eat them is with butter and apricot jam.
Q: Can you think of a food you like as much as biscuits?
A: That sweet kind of popcorn I got for Halloween on the hayride.
Q: Is there a food we make at home that you like as much as Bea's biscuits?
A: That ice cream Bea made on my half-birthday. (Editor's note: The ice cream is memorable in its abundance of cream and egg yolks. We have all started a weight loss program in its honor.)
Q: Do you have advice for other children about biscuits?
A: Eat a biscuit when it's warm, but not when it's too warm.
